Can't agree more with hard stuff being part of self care. Being lazy is self-destruction even if it feels good on the moment.
The trick is that our brain seems to be programmed to seek immediate reward and avoid effort that doesn't lead to them. But we can reprogram ourselves by experimenting, taking a step back and reflecting, or reading a beautiful and helpful newsletter such as yours ;)
