New podcast episode: Should you start a business with a close friend?
We talk to the founders of The Black Hole Group about what it's like to start a business with a close friend, how to balance the friendship and more.
This episode, we talk to Mustaffa & Calvin, the founders of The Black Hole Group.
They met in JC, and as two close friends, they started out in 2012 opening and running a backpacker's hostel.
Fast forward to today, The Black Hole Group owns 13 F&B and lifestyle concepts and are still going strong. Some restaurants you may be familiar with include Tipo Pasta Bar, The Great Mischief, Éla and Working Title Riverside.
We talk to them about what it’s like starting a business with a close friend, how to maintain and balance being friends and business partners, and their journey from plucky 26-year-olds running around putting our fires in a backpackers hostel to essentially, F & B moguls.
We enjoyed our conversation with them and learnt so much - hopefully you will too.
Have a great weekend ahead y’all.
