True and this is attributed to the ‘generation gap’ as most will describe it. Fact of the matter is that older generation think it will save money for all to live together and even provide some help around household matters. Younger generation will think they can buy a bigger house by pooling resources together and to take care of older folks more conveniently. On paper this seems workable.
However when it comes to execution things change because of little things which start to annoy each other. This is described in the story and I can relate (even though it does not apply in my situation). Over time it blows up! Human beings at certain point in time needs to have space for themselves. Not necessarily due to ‘generation gap’ issue. Even some couple sleep in separate rooms to have their own ‘space’.
