Not all child gets the same kind of love, saying that mother has duty it doesn't includes all mother. A compassionate, determined lady can become mother. That is why it is said not all mothers are entitled to be call a mother. This piece is lovely and coming from a very loving home I was still able to feel & relate. :)

I am currently relating this. Though I wish my dad could divorce my mom and both parties agreed, under the eyes of law he is still my dad (legally). No one can understand how our childhood shapes to the reason(s) why we chose to give up on our parents.

The only baggage I felt I have to carry is work and financial arrangement when he gets too sick. Eventually that day will come. For now I’m just taking one step at a time and enjoy what I am doing.

I really appreciate how you're able to talk about taboo subjects with graphic novels. Well done and keep it going!

Ah girl, stay strong. You’re on the right track, living life on your own terms. Don’t worry too much about how others see you.
